That was Bill Warman and he is trying to get
that accepted as a new state record. Problem is the scales at
Canyon are supposedly certified but have not been checked since 1999.
They have to be checked every year to be valid, and that scale said 13
lbs. There is no way that bass is only 13. He is a big man.
He has pics being developed of the bass on a certified scale he
received from someone in the BBWCR people. it showed 17.34 lbs
which is enough for state record, but i don't think it will be accepted
by G&F.
