WOW!!!
This elk is BIGGGGG! New Montana record elk Ladies
and
gentleman........Just wanted to pass this on......apparently
this was
arrowed by a kid from Livingston a short time ago. It was
rumored that he
shot it with a rifle but the Fish & Game Wardens investigated
both the
carcass and the kill sight and reported it was in fact taken with
a bow.
It was measured and though unofficial it scored 410 gross and 385
net.
Nontypical score is 412-415 net!! Main beams are 52"
with 47" of inside
spread. Thirds are 31" and the fourths go 29 inches!
(longer than a lot of
peoples ARMS !). NO circumference was UNDER 8 inches !!
That's a lot of elk!
